Wartrace Strawberry Festival
Saturday, May 13th, 2023 - 9am-5pm
The Strawberry Festival is our annual celebration of spring and all things strawberry organized by the Wartrace Chamber of Commerce. Set in Historic Downtown Wartrace, we host a variety of vendors selling their arts & crafts, baked goods, decor, boutique clothing, pottery, canned goods, handmade items, direct sales products and each booth will have something strawberry-themed. There will be a Kids' Zone, food trucks, frozen treats, and we will have fresh strawberries for sale by local farmers from the surrounding areas (while they last). Wear a strawberry costume to join the Strawberry Parade and be sure to enter the Strawberry Bake-Off Contest for the chance to win a prize! Performers to be announced.
Location: Main Street, Historic Square in Downtown Wartrace

This event is free and will be outdoors on the square in Downtown Wartrace just 30 minutes south of Murfreesboro. There are also several adorable shops, a bakery/cafe, and a pizzeria all on the square. Family-friendly and pets welcome on leashes.
Schedule of Activities
Strawberry Parade & Contest - 10:30am
Join us for our small town Strawberry Parade during the Strawberry Festival! Bring wagons, bikes, or plan to walk, and wear your best strawberry attire to win the Strawberry Costume Contest. Line up at the Dollar eneral store at 10:15 am and the parade will begin at 10:30.
Strawberry Bake-off Contest - 12:00pm
All entries for Strawberry Bake-off must be homemade and strawberry-themed.
Strawberry Bake-Off Prizes for Best Tasting (1st), Most Presentable (2nd), and Strawberry Spirit (3rd) will be given! Judging will take place in the middle of the Downtown Square at the old “Well House” at 12:00pm (look for strawberry balloons). If you want to enter a strawberry jam/jelly then you will need to make biscuits or something to complete the bite (homemade).
Must submit entry form along with $5 fee to participate in one contest. Instructions to submit are at the bottom of form. item must must be dropped off by 11:30am. Download the Strawberry Festival Contests Entry Form by clicking the 'Applications' tab.
Vendors Needed for 2023!
2023 is already booking up so get your application in now. We welcome arts & crafts booths, decor, antiques, knives, pottery, woodwork, homemade or local items, produce, bath & body, candles, some direct sales, etc. All booths must have something strawberry-themed whether to be sold or given away at your booth. Electricity is limited and mostly unavailable. We are expecting at least 2000 shoppers and all of our vendors sell out of anything strawberry-related each year. We usually have at least 6 food trucks and they sell out of most things by the end of the festival. Our Facebook events reach hundreds of thousands of people and we grow exponentially each year so it is hard to predict the new volume.
If you would like to reserve a vendor booth for the Strawberry Festival 2023, please fill out an application and send the vendor fee. We avoid duplicate businesses at this event. Call us if you have more specific questions not answered on the application itself.
